The CTICC is Africa’s leading convention centre located in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. The purpose built event complex consists of CTICC 1 and CTICC 2, which are connected by the Skybridge and boast a floor space of 140 855m2.

Free Wi-fi
A free, high speed Wi-Fi connection is available throughout CTICC 1 and CTICC 2 for visitors to use. This Wi-Fi is great for emails, internet browsing and social media.
Prayer Facilities
The CTICC accommodates people of all persuasions and religions, offering dedicated prayer rooms for its patrons in both CTICC 1 and CTICC 2.
ATM
ATMs are located in the foyer of the P3 parking basement, in CTICC 1 on the ground floor, near Entrance 1 as well as in the CTICC 2 atrium.
Accessibility
Getting to the CTICC is easy as Cape Town is a dynamic, cosmopolitan city with well-established transport systems in place. The CTICC is also conveniently located in the central business and entertainment hub of the city, and is close to many major attractions, and places to stay and eat.
TAXI
Ask your taxi driver to pick you up or drop you off at the designated pick-up and drop-off zones outside the main entrance of CTICC 1 and CTICC 2. You can also make use of accredited taxis at the drop-off and pick-up point infront of CTICC 1. Should you require assistance, enquire with the reception desk.
BUS
The CTICC is conveniently located along two MyCiTi bus public transport routes. The CTICC bus stops are located on Walter Sisulu Ave, near the main entrance of CTICC 1. These stops are serviced by routes 104 and 116, which also run to the popular V&A Waterfront.
A dedicated City Sightseeing Hop-on Hop-off bus stop is also is located at Entrance 3 on Walter Sisulu Avenue. Sightseers can stop at the CTICC, visit the coffee shops, or attend one of our scheduled consumer shows. Guests can also purchase tickets to any of the consumer shows, on the day at the show venue.
Delegates wanting to go on the City Sightseeing bus directly from the CTICC can hop-on and purchase tickets prior to departure.
DRIVING
Driving to and parking at the CTICC is a little simpler, with over 1 400 secure parking bays. Accessible on-site parking bays are available to visitors in P3 & P5. Please click here for more information on parking garage locations and tariffs.
WATER CANAL
The unique Roggebaai Canal offers a relaxed, charming journey via City Sightseeing’s Hop-on Hop-off Canal Cruise water taxis between the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and the CTICC. The taxis stop outside CTICC 1, near the P1 parking garage entrance, and run every 20-30 minutes.
CYCLING
In an effort to minimise its carbon footprint, the CTICC encourages the use of bicycles and offers free bicycle parking facilities in P3 and on Convention Square outside the entrance to CTICC 1.
AIR TRAVEL
Flying to Cape Town
Cape Town shares a time zone with many European and African cities and is as close as an overnight flight. Direct flights to Cape Town are available from over 20 international destinations. Domestic airlines also link Cape Town to all other centres around the country.
Transport from the Airport
When arriving at Cape Town International Airport, there are several options for transport into the city.
The MyCiTi bus public transport system offers a non-stop shuttle to and from the airport. The bus station can be found right outside the main terminal entrance, and buses depart every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour.
You can also catch a taxi from outside the terminal or request an Uber by following the directions on the app to the designated pick up zone in the P1 parking garage.
A wide range of car hire companies are also available, while private luxury air-conditioned coaches and shuttle buses regularly run between the airport, hotels, the city centre and most major tourist destinations.
The airport is a 20-30 minute drive from the CTICC and the city centre.
All rooms can be easily accessed – there are no raised doorsteps at the meeting venues.
All exterior entrances to the venue have ramp access.
The width of all doors has been designed to accommodate wheelchair access.
Designated drop-off points at the main entrance of the venue have been allocated for the disabled.
Auditorium 1 is equipped to accommodate designated seating positions for wheelchair users and Auditorium 2 can be suitably adjusted
The ramp at entrance 5 has been made accessible for wheelchairs during construction of the Sky Bridge.
The reception counter in CTICC 2 has been modified with a low counter to accommodate clients, delegates and staff in wheelchairs to have access to the Centre’s reception staff. This area also features a ramp at the entrance of the counter.
The door handles at the parking lot entrance to the CTICC 2 building have been installed at a low position and extended to ensure that people in wheelchairs are able to reach the door handles.
The CTICC 2 building features designated emergency zones installed in every area for disabled people: Disabled signage is clearly displayed and all emergency telephones has been installed in low positions in reach of visitors in a wheelchair.
Our Security and Maintenance staff to always be ready to assist clients and delegates in an emergency.
Maintenance staff and dedicated porters have cordless phones which allow for staff to always be available on call when there is a possible emergency.
At CTICC 1 there is one wheelchair available in the business centre and two wheelchairs in the medic room for delegates and clients in need of assistance.
Director buttons in lifts are positioned at a level to ensure they are accessible to wheelchair users. All lift buttons are labelled in braille in CTICC 1 and 2.
In CTICC 1 there are audio announcements in all lifts indicating which level you are on and door operations to help visually impaired clients and delegates.
All passenger lifts within the CTICC 2 are disabled friendly.
Disabled toilets on all levels of the venue including the Management Offices.
All components in the CTICC 2 disabled restrooms are installed at a low position to enable people in wheelchairs to reach the handtowels and hand sanitizer dispensers.
The CTICC 2 building has disabled restrooms installed with Emergency call Devices which alerts Security in the control rooms and also anyone outside of the restroom that assistance is required in the restroom.
Designated parking bays for the disabled in the Centre’s P3 and P5 parking areas have direct access to elevators which are designed to accommodate wheelchairs.
